OUR STORY
The name Har (ሀር) evokes a careful, purposeful craft: transformation achieved through patience, skill and attention to detail. That spirit guides our work. We were established to help local and international actors working in Ethiopia’s civic space move from good intentions to lasting results — supporting organisations at every stage, from launch to scale. community organizations to become capable and reliable agents of change.
MISSION
To strengthen the capacity of impact organisations in Ethiopia by providing practical, context-grounded training, mentorship, and tailored support that enables sustainable, community-led development.
VISION
To see capable, reliable organisations across Ethiopia — and, in the long run, to become a trusted hub for the CSO sector: a centre for learning, partnership, and digital solutions where organisations connect, grow, and scale impact together.
